Celebrating the opening of the pop-ups, a series of flashmob-style performances were held in the busy environments of Sogo Causeway Bay, MOKO Mongkok and Festival Walk, some of the largest retail spaces in Hong Kong. Inspired by the opening of our first global flagship store on London’s Regent Street, 16 dancers from the prestigious Jean M Wong School of Ballet, took central locations both within and outside the malls to perform.
For the productions, the dancers wore key rainwear designs from the Hunter Original collection featuring our icon, the Original Poncho, the Original Bubble Umbrella and the Original Tour. Crowds watched from the galleries as the event took place, which looked to Gene Kelly’s famous performance, Singin’ in the Rain, and Hunter’s heritage of protection from the weather, in keeping with the rainy days ahead for Hong Kong and the surrounding region.
The pop-up stores are open in these areas until the end of rainy season and feature the Hunter Original collection including Original Poncho and the Original Tour in new gloss colours.
